Gene Parker Quotes

"Carnality is not just a "problem", unbelievers have; it is their nature. Likewise, righteousness is not merely a "spiritual condition," it is a believer's new nature. Walking in the flesh will always produce sin. Walking in the Spirit will always produce righteousness. Real-life situations are opportunities for the Spirit within Christians to express His divine attributes through their response." ~Gene Parker, FB, 24 April 2012

"God is admittedly a jealous God. He cherishes His people's affections and will tolerate no rivals. He is not content to be just one of your priorities. He wants to be your one priority." ~Gene Parker, FB, 25 August 2011

"Everyday when God gives us another day, we are thankful, and, every night we lay our heads on the pillow, we are thankful. Being thankful in itself is truly a blessing. Just to be able to see is a blessing; just to be able to hear those birds and the songs they sing is also a blessing. It is a shame on us that we can get up in the morning and run off to do our thing and not be thankful for life." ~Gene Parker, FB July 2011

"God looks deep into our being(soul) with His love and understanding. He satisfies our every hope and gives us faith and strength to continue our race as we war against evil in this world around us." ~Gene Parker, FB

"God speaks to the depths of our hearts. He, through the Spirit, brings peace to our minds." ~Gene Parker, FB

"Growth is like a vine that when it is first growing and trying to take root, it bares little or no fruit at all." ~Gene Parker, FB

"I began to think about God the life giver, the one being responsible for giving and sustaining life in me and every living thing. From the smallest one cell amoeba to the largest of the sea creatures." ~Gene Parker, FB - from his post What God Means To Me.

"The depth of a person's conversion is a gauge to the depth of his understanding." ~ Gene Parker, FB 1 June 2011

"To love, honor, and obey; this is our calling, our code of conduct. Through this our character and our integrity is built." ~Gene Parker, FB

"We all experiance failure. It is a consequence of our fallen human condition. But how agonizingly painful it is when we fail to honor our precious Savior, our Lord. Our sin is a direct affront to His death on the stake for us and His unfailing love for us. How diligent are we in our everyday lives? Let Christ live in you today and everyday. We are not our own, but God and Christ." ~Gene Parker, FB

"We live by a code; one of loving one another, honoring each other, and obeying God." ~Gene Parker, FB

[What beauty there is in this world. How ugly man can be toward one another. How foolish we are as human beings to turn our backs on the only one who can really do anything about it. How terrible it is going to be, to watch as this world goes into total chaos.

What else can be said of a creature made by God who turns on its own, and the one great Creator, our true Father (God)? It is so hard, yet simple; we have heard the answer for years - Satan made them do it -, well maybe not, - we have done it to ourselves by rejecting God and accepting another (god). How simple, how wise, how easy, it would be to prove God, obey Him.

God is wanting us to love Him and honor Him for giving us a way out of this mess we have gotten our selves into.

People screamed in the first election of our national leader, "we want change" - did they really? Not quiet, not at all. They elected the one who promised them that and still rejected the only one who give them change and a better life, a life of peace, a life of plenty where there would be no starvation. A life filled with healthy and radiant children, no disease, only happy joyful subjects of the great creator God - Our Father, God of the whole universe, God of all that is or ever will be. Oh' how simple - Christianity ] ~Gene Parker, FB January 20, 2013

"Voluntary use of our knowledge can create havoc in our lives." ~Gene Parker
