VISION OF TRUTH
“Master, I behold only miracles. Life is a miracle. All being is a miracle. Consciousness is a miracle. I behold God in all creation. I sense the beauty of Love in the fragrance of the flower, in the smile of a child, in the warmth of lovers, in the glow of the stars. When I look onto the world, I am greeted with its mysteries. It is with awe and reverence that each day unfolds its beauty. I know that all things are good and that each expresses their good in their own appropriate manner for the moment. I know that which my brothers speak about is but illusion, for only the eternal is real. I will give no power to thoughts of scarcity, of limitation, of need, for all that is truly needed is here for us to behold, to recognize, and to accept. I wish only to give to the world the sight I have been given. For with these modest eyes and senses, my heart is quickened by the glory of being.” ~Attributed to the Author, Eldon Taylor

"A lot of people are down on the concept of a happy ending, and it’s not a new thing. The Greeks were entertained by tragedies, Shakespeare peppered his repertoire with catastrophe, and many of the writers in Austen’s time were far more interested in philosophizing than lifting hearts. While they might not be considered beach reads nowadays, Austen’s novels were for the most part meant to be light, funny social commentary, sometimes with a slight moral agenda. The happy ending was mandatory." ~Sara Gentry, editor turned novelist. From 5 Timeless Lessons We Learned from Jane Austen

Mary Schumann - freedom and wisdom
"The only way to heal yourself was to understand. Understand the love or the hate or the cowardice, or the impulsiveness, the lack of will of the one who hurt you--the circumstances that twisted them, the influences that warped them. And when you forgot yourself and saw the others with pitying comprehension, saw their tortured motives, a white, healing peace descended upon you. Your betrayal became an impersonal one, like a bridge giving way when you crossed it, lightning, a motor collision--you were in the way and you were damaged--that was all. It wasn't meant for you. When you understood, you were released into a new freedom and wisdom.” ~Mary Schumann, Strong Enchantments

“It is not lies or a lack of loyalty that ends a relationship. It is the agonizing truth that one person feels in their heart on a daily basis. It is realizing that you are coping and not living. It is the false belief that there is a verse, quote, phrase or talk that will magically make you feel content, complete or not care. However, it doesn’t last longer than a few days, before your mind and heart goes back to what it wants. It is the moment you realize that you left without ever leaving. It is the moment you realize that fear, shame or guilt is the only thing standing in the way of the life God meant for you to live.” ~Shannon L. Alder

“Reputation is what others think of us; character is what God knows of us. “Sensitive people are the most genuine and honest people you will ever meet. There is nothing they won’t tell you about themselves if they trust your kindness. However, the moment you betray them, reject them or devalue them, they will end the friendship. They live with guilt and constant pain over unresolved situations and misunderstandings. They are tortured souls that are not able to live with hatred or being hated. This type of person needs the most love anyone can give them because their soul has been constantly bruised by others. However, despite the tragedy of what they have to go through in life, they remain the most compassionate people worth knowing and the ones that often become activists for the broken-hearted, forgotten and the misunderstood. They are angels with broken wings that only fly when loved.” ~Shannon L. Alder
“Sometimes, you will go through awful trials in your life and then a miracle happens--God heals you. Don’t be disheartened when the people you love don’t see things like you do. God won't deny you a spiritual experience because you are not a spiritual leader. He loves everyone equal. "It's impossible to be angry and to laugh at the same time. The emotions we feel are based on the choices we make. We can choose to feel sad, angry, resentful or we can choose to be happy, joyful, forgiving. It's not always easy to choose the latter - sometimes it's so tough you have to keep focusing on your decision every single minute. And that's ok too. "You came from the same force that created the stars, thunderstorms and rainbows. Don't allow anyone to make you feel less than this - especially yourself." ~from The Healing Room
"I've come to realise that love doesn't always last forever - no matter how much you want it to.
That you cannot love enough for two people and by trying you will be crushed. That trust can be betrayed - and often by the one person you never dreamt could be capable.
That true love can lead to grief and loss. That hearts are shattered as often as they are cherished. And I've also realised that the longest, toughest and most harrowing day is still only 24 hours long. That even though I might cry through the darkness of the night, the sun still rises in the morning, bringing with it a new day full of purpose and potential.
That love can cause devastation and tears, but that there will be friends nearby to wipe them away. That support comes from all directions and in the most unexpected and unlikeliest places - especially when you're on the right path.
And I've finally realised that it's okay not to know what to do next. Not to know what I want, and to be comfortable in that confusion and pain. And the very best realisation of all is that there isn't a single answer for every question - and that it can evolve and change and transform with me." ~F. Dunphy, The Healing Room

"Peace is not a gap between times of fighting, or a space where nothing is happening. Peace is something that lives, spreads, and needs to be looked after." ~Katherine Scholes
George E. Lyon - PEACE
"Peace is a process of responding to diversity and conflict with tolerance, imagination, and flexibility; war is a product of our intent to stamp out diversity and conflict when we give up on the process of peace." ~George E. Lyon
W.H. Murray - elementary truth
"Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of creation there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: The moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would otherwise never have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favour all manner of events and meetings and material assistance which no man would have believed would have come his way." ~W.H. Murray, who led a Scottish Himalayan Expedition.
Sakyong Mipham Quotes
“Awareness puts us in tune with the elements. This elemental connection is part of being alive. We are too often indoors, unaware of the elements. The elements are not our enemies: we ourselves are made of the elements. When we connect with them, they inspire us and make us stronger, allowing us to communicate with the world in much subtler ways.” ~Sakyong Mipham
“If we do not push ourselves enough, we do not grow, but if we push ourselves too much, we regress. What is enough will change, depending on where we are and what we are doing. In that sense, the present moment is always some kind of beginning.” ~Sakyong Mipham, Running with the Mind of Meditation: Lessons for Training Body and Mind
“In the beginning of running and of meditation, one of the biggest obstacles is laziness. One kind of laziness is basic slothfulness, in which we are unable to extract ourselves from the television or couch. In this case, just a little bit of exercise can send a message to the body that it is time to move forward. Even putting on workout clothes and beginning to stretch helps bring us out of our sloth. By the same token, sitting down to follow the breath for even five minutes has the power to move us out of laziness. Another form of laziness is that we don’t make time in our busy, speedy life to go for a run or to sit down and practice.” ~Sakyong Mipham, Running with the Mind of Meditation: Lessons for Training Body and Mind
“Like gravity, karma is so basic we often don't even notice it.” ~Sakyong Mipham
"Many of us are slaves to our minds. Our own mind is our worst enemy. We try to focus, and our mind wanders off. We try to keep stress at bay, but anxiety keeps us awake at night. We try to be good to the people we love, but then we forget them and put ourselves first. And when we want to change our life, we dive into spiritual practice and expect quick results, only to lose focus after the honeymoon has worn off. We return to our state of bewilderment. We're left feeling helpless and discouraged. It seems we all agree that training the body through exercise, diet, and relaxation is a good idea, but why don't we think about training our minds?” ~Sakyong Mipham
“Running and meditation are very personal activities. Therefore they are lonely. This loneliness is one of their best qualities because it strengthens our incentive to motivate ourselves.” ~Sakyong Mipham, Running with the Mind of Meditation: Lessons for Training Body and Mind
“The body benefits from movement, and the mind benefits from stillness.” ~Sakyong Mipham, Running with the Mind of Meditation: Lessons for Training Body and Mind
“The bones and tendons of the mind are mindfulness and awareness. Mindfulness is the mind’s strength, and awareness is its flexibility. Without these abilities, we cannot function. When we drink a glass of water, drive a car, or have a conversation, we are using mindfulness and awareness.” ~Sakyong Mipham, Running with the Mind of Meditation: Lessons for Training Body and Mind
“Then we wonder, “Why is nothing turning out the way I want?” Tiger mind creates a little gap in which we can look at our choices. We could get mad or not get mad. We could manipulate or not manipulate. We could become desirous and fixate. We could get jealous or not. It’s up to us. Wisdom and compassion begin with cultivating discernment—not just reacting to what happens.” ~Sakyong Mipham, Ruling Your World: Ancient Strategies For Modern Life
“True happiness is always available to us, but first we have to create the environment for it to flourish.” ~Sakyong Mipham, Turning the Mind Into an Ally
“When stress is the basic state of mind, even good things stress us out. We have to learn to let go.” ~Sakyong Mipham, Running with the Mind of Meditation: Lessons for Training Body and Mind
"When we are certain that the way to accomplish our own wishes is to help others, we have no regrets." ~Sakyong Mipham

Ervin K. Kery Quotes
"We experience an entirely new dimension of ourself, and this dimension is in fact and ancient, indescribable, intelligent, living, endless space, space-like emptiness, in which bodily sensations, emotions and thoughts as well as material objects appear and vanish, like the waves on the surface of the ocean. We know that it exists, it is the one and only Life, and at the same time it is the essence in us we call ”I” (The ”I am–sensation”). It exists as an ancient, living empty space, a Consciousness conscious of its own existence that comprises everything. Nothing exists outside it, and everything that exists is born inside it: within its space and as its own manifestation. Judy Frenette Quotes
"Life experience has taught me, we never get over things, if you go into a painful heart memory, it is still there, but life pushes us forward, like an ancient deep river, it still keeps flowing and moving with natural rhythms of life, don't look to move on when you get over things, because it doesn't happen, move on with the wisdom you earned from your pain, you may be dragging your feet, but keep moving forward, make a choice to own your amazing strength with pride, love and compassion, you have expanded your heart wisdom." ~Judy Frenette
"No matter how bad things get, and sometimes they do get real bad, know that the sun will rise again and we can always make a new start, this time with all the knowledge of our experiences, work with the Universe by accepting what is, understand that challenges and heartaches are universal for all and not something that is faulty in you, create and practice the habit to give thanks for every single blessing in your life and feel the abundance and power of that prosperity of blessings." ~Judy Frenette

Orebela Gbenga Quotes
“Don't tie your heart to a person that has nothing left to offer you. Let it go. It might hurt for a while, but when you get over it, you'll see that its better.” ~Orebela Gbenga
"No matter how bad it hurts or how bad you feel, it’s time to stop thinking about that person who played with your feelings, who took your love for granted, who never appreciated your care, who wasn’t contented with what you could give him or her. You can’t stay at that hurtful place anymore. You can’t keep shedding tears over someone who doesn’t deserve the love you gave. You can’t keep feeling sorry for yourself and thinking if only you did more. You can’t make them want the relationship because if they wanted they wouldn’t have let go of you.
You deserve better now. You deserve someone who appreciates you and who won’t play with your delicate heart.. Just like a cut on your hand will take time to heal, your broken heart needs time to heal as well. That’s not the end of your life. You will get over that pain you’re having right now and one day you’ll be happy again." ~Orebela Gbenga

VERSE
"Are the waves reaching
for the sun, the moon?
Or do they come to extinguish
the seas power in the sand?
I will meet the waves
where they are born,
and listen to their dreams.
I will jump in the sea."
~John Patrick Shankey

THE STARS WERE BRILLIANT TONIGHT
I gather them all in,
Saw them all in the moonlit sky.
My mermaid soul dove into the bath
By the window to the universe,
Where the full moon perched
And I could lay my head back
Opening my eyes to the sky's wonder.
The stars were brilliant tonight
They shone their light and
Pierced my heart,
Showing me the way home,
Forever making me theirs.
